A9 Tour 2016 Truth in Light and Darkness - Tour Final @ Tsutaya O-East, Shibuya

The last song playing in the air as I exit Tsutaya O-East on 29/5 still lingering in my head now, even though 36 hours has passed since then, and I'm now on the flight on my way home to Singapore. And somewhat, I couldn't find a better tune to complete the memory of this wonderful night at Shibuya, Tokyo.

Perhaps to a lot of you reading this might not know what's this song I'm talking about, the song I've mentioned above is "Believe Be:leave" by Aimer, that exact song Saga listened to when the boys moving back Tokyo from Fukushima, and he tweeted about it, and I went checked out the song, such a beautiful tune I couldn't help falling in love with - with the whole album really. And I was really just listening to the album two nights before live day, relaxing to the melody with my mask on. It was so comfortable I almost fell asleep - LOL.

Anyway, in case you're wondering are you even on the right blog because of my bad habit to digress, I'm picking up our train back on the track now. This is a fanaccount on A9 Truth In Light and Darkness Tour Final at Shibuya O-East! Sorry for the long opening, I promise I'll make up to that.

To call the evening amazing is probably an understatement, and with that said, you should definitely know that it is all the good stuffs and then more. How much fun I had, although I was way at the back - with quite a good view of the stage, you'll see later - and even though until now my body is still aching from all the jumping and headbanging I've done the other day. Well, I believe Saga isn't the only one who got his neck "broken" that day. I really regretted not buying myself a tube of Fastum gel for my own neck - and various other parts of my body too - now. Hahahaha!

Still, I don't regret anything else I've done at all.

So that day started fairly early for me, as usual, I just can't sleep late in the morning when I'm in Japan, wonder why... I woke up about 6am? I should be out to meet my friend at 9am - and late for meeting her even though I had several hours of lead time, geez, my time management sucks. And in case anyone reading this interested in asking me out sometimes in the future, you should definitely take note. XD

So morning, we had breakfast at Freshness Burger, and then we arrived at O-East about 10 plus - 11am. There was already a small queue for goods formed there, we joined in.

Goods sales started at 2pm, time passed fairly fast as we busy catching up with one another. When we were finally allowed to go up and get our stuffs, almost all of us went for the cheki first hahahaha!

So I decided to buy 4 pieces, but because two other friends of mine are interested in getting too so I just got us a set and split between three of us.

My set came with 3 pictures of Saga, 2 pictures of Hiroto, 2 pictures of Shou, 1 picture of Tora, and 1 picture of Hiroto and Nao. I got one of Saga with something written, although I've yet to figure out what he wrote there. Lolol!

Saga set.
Hiroto set.
Shou set.
**Sorry I do not have a picture of Tora in my set, as that is already given to the other girl by the time I took these pictures.

There was a bit of confusion about the points systems and all, but everything was fine. Although by the time I'm out again it was already 4pm and I was starving.

Had our food and back to queue, I was in no hurry because I'll be at the back anyway. There was a bit of complication getting my ticket settled it was solved rather quickly and I was soon inside the venue. The live started not long after we entered. Starting it after the starter music was Silver.

Lots of amazing songs, and the ways they are arranged for tonight too, is genius. I am still in love with the new version of 華 and Rainbows, wishing that the boys would actually record it and release it to fans because it's so good I hope everyone can listen to it.

Side comment: seriously, I doubt I can ever listen to Silver without seeing how Saga flip his hair now. It was an entire song of Saga hairflip show, seriously. No wonder he complained his neck got hurt. I just hope it's fine now, or at least getting better.

The fun part, after the rather still light session, we quickly went into full speed in second session, starting with Tsubasa, the series of songs kept coming one crazier than the other. By the time it got to Kowloon, I was sweating and all hyped up, and all I knew was to follow the beat. There was no thoughts - well perhaps a few, I did worry for a brief moment that I would hit those standing close to me with my hair. Such thoughts quickly escaped me as Shou told us to go, and that was just it, go, and everyone swinging their heads to the beat like nothing else matter.

Such energy, it felt so good.

Things cooled down slightly after Kowloon, there was a brief talk session and they mentioned about a love song Saga wrote, Saga mentioned something about asking Shou to sing it and Shou was like "is it okay?" These boys seriously, all acting cute up on stage. And Hiroto played the opening note to the song, the crowd gasped. "Jewels" is next.

I love Jewels, although my love for it can't be compare to my love for "Jellyfish", the reprise version, which was played right after "Jewels". I think squealed a little when I heard that first note being played, and I turned to my friend excitedly and like "Jellyfish jellyfish jellyfish!" Basically fangirling over it. I'm sorry, couldn't help myself! Cause while I've seen "Jewels" being performed on lives before - on live video - I have never heard "Jellyfish" reprise version live before. Maybe I missed something, I am just very glad that one of my favorite song was played that night.

And tell you guys what? It was as good as it was recorded, if not better.

Rainbow next and we went back to a series of head-swinging and jumping. Saga was so high that he put his bass down on the stage so that he can jump higher. Although he quickly learned that there wasn't enough time for him to shoulder back his bass and play the next note in time. He just held his bass up and jump the remaining two choruses. Hahahaha!

I can so totally tell that he was having utmost fun from that smile on his face.

The crazy last three songs, that basically I didn't even notice much about the change anymore, I just remember following the beat easing from one song into another, it was a lot of fun. I wasn't even watching the stage too much by the end of it, it was just the music and movements, and I doubt I'm the only one feeling that last part of the live.

Another of my favorite song were played and it was 闇ニ散ル桜. It was almost sad have it ending and the boys going back inside to change, although yes they came back out fairly quickly, Nao the first one to come out, and he said something about Shou's mike being so tall (laughs). Hiroto the next one came out, with towel wrapped around his head, and then Saga. And so the three of them started the encore session with some freestyle rapping about their goods - with Saga is the drummer for the session.

I am sorry I laughed out loud when Saga missed a beat there and they couldn't continue their rapping. Oops.

I wonder how long he has been playing around with drums though. He wasn't like amazing like our Nao is - of course, or he will be the drummer of the band already - but he could definitely plays, well simple beats that is.

The goods introduction was funny as usual, Shou and Tora came out they just made themselves comfortable sitting by the drum set while watching these three trolling around. (Or well they were not trolling you know, they just being innovative about promoting the remaining of their goods. Please support them by buying something okay? They've worked very hard. Here's the link for any oversea fans who wants to get something from Midnight Galaxy: http://peatix.com/event/139914/view)

The encore continued with a little more talking and then they played Eraser, then Velvet and Blue Planet. I almost don't want the night to end - I guessed everyone too, hence why the second encore happened after the boys went in to the back again.

My friend was a bit surprise it happened, I had hoped that they will do it. The boys did come back out, and they did Prismatic again and this time the whole place were filled with jumping fans. So amazing, such a last song to the night. The boys wanted to take picture with us all - well you won't see me in the picture I'm sure, cause I'm all the way at the back - and guess what's the amazing thing? The camera man has gone home! Hahaha, yup! And Gakki-san became our camera man that saved the night.

I know I missed out a lot of moments in between, these little moments I couldn't remember between which two songs that happened, so I'm just going to fill them in here. Please note that these all are from my perspective, from the far back. And because I can only understand very limited portion of Japanese so I might misinterpret what they said, please take everything I typed below with a pinch of salt okay?

So there was one part, after a particularly high song Shou's hair got a bit messy. The fans at the front was like, "Shou your hair is a messy." Shou went like, "Hair? Where?" he tried to fix it without success. Fans where like "There, there!" Shou was like "Here? Here?" The whole time Shou was speaking in that kawaii, slightly girly tone, it was so funny. At the end - because our Shou-san couldn't fix his hair without help apparently - Saga went up to him and helped him fixed it. And Shou is like, "Ok, I'm done being cute."

Oh no, Shou, you'll never stop being cute. Hahahahaha, that scene is already inside my mind now.

There was a moment where Hiroto grabbed Saga and planted a kiss on his head. So cute, I went all awwww there. And Saga called Hiroto "my Pomeranian Hiroto."

Hiroto jumped into the crowd during one of the song and went crowd surfing. That crazy boy that night.

Saga told Shou to take his jacket off, so during one of the last few songs, Shou actually took off his jacket. There wasn't much to show - but it's Shou - but the inner black shirt he wore was actually quite fitted, like very nicely fitted. So many Shou's bias fans gasped out loud - at least those around me. Hahahaha!

Oh, what's a must note for the night, Saga's hairflip. He's definitely enjoying it. I couldn't even count how many time he did it that night, he just does it every other line. A total eye feast of Saga hairflip show - and he does it ever so sexily, really. XD

That moment when both guitarists on the right side of the stage (yes they stand together throughout the live, and Saga and Nao on this side of the stage. No changing back this time) swung their head - and body - in sync to the beat. It was so cute to see. Hehehehe.

Wonderful live, these are all I could remember, and Shou's perfect dead growl that night. Everything was amazing on that night, I can't even describe how fun it was, it just was, and I wish I can live through it again and again and again and never have it to end, if replying the same night over and over again is an open option.

I look forward to their future lives, seeing this time they are still experimenting with what they can and cannot do, and it is already this good, I can't wait to see how good their future lives could be.

So my next update will be about 3 weeks plus away? If you don't already know yup I've gave in and bought ticket to Saga's birthday live too, and I am looking forward to it.

Also, I've bought my ticket to the Alternative season 2 and Nao Birthday party~~~ XD

Waiting and hoping for good news here for the Anniversary live here. Pray for me to get a good number in the second ballot girls!

I gonna leave this here then, pictures below mostly of goods and my gifts to the boys. I'll see you all soon! ;)
